Today we had a leak
And our fridge didn’t fit
I wanted to scream loudly
“SH&T, F&$@ITY SH&T!”
But I told myself that all would be well
And sent those negative feelings to hell
Our family are coming
And it’s storming outside
I’m about to make burgers with Corey by my side.
Some days are hectic
Some days are mad
But at the end of the day
I refuse to be sad
I’m thankful for the wonderful people who surround me
Who love and appreciate me and help to ground me.
