Dream Lessons (two poems)

Late night, tired eyes.

Dreams in slumber tell no lies.

Instinct’s truth we rarely heed

Pay it a care and follow its lead.

Deep sleep eludes me
Thoughts buzz through my head like bees
I must come to rest
(And stop writing haikus;-))
