Sometimes others cause us pain
Their words they burn like acid rain
Resist the urge to hurt them back
Or give to them a mental smack
Consider each thing you say or do
Because it reflects back on you
Is this the person you want to be?
Paining others needlessly
For you can choose another path
To make those around you smile and laugh
And others in their hurt and pain
Will see the sun shine through the rain
Humans have the power to heal
Because we can feel what others feel
