Our Rocket

The moon is where I’m going
Yellow, big and bright
We’ll travel in a rocket
With sky black as night
Stars will await me
As diamonds shining
The sky as black as velvet lining

Get ready for take-off
The space ship will blast off
10, 9, 8, 7, we’re going to fly as high as heaven
6, 5, 4, 3, the twinkling stars they shine at me
Knowing we’re going, 2 and 1
Our rocket will soon be gone
We’re going to shake off
We’re going to break off
Ready to take off?
BLAST OFF!

I’m feeling rather nervous
Looking down on earth
The planet where I’ve come from
The planet of my birth

Floating into orbit
Gravity is gone
Looking at the planets
As our rocket goes on
