Peace

I wrote this poem on 26 February 1991, at the age of 13

Peace is important
Whatever man will say
Peace is important
Important every day

Wars and destruction
Love to kill off peace
One more deduction
I wish all this would cease

Is man not sensible?
Or is he not mature?
Has he no power
No power to fight no more?

We’re creating shows for Satan
Or are we on his side?
Nothing is peaceful
I wish man would abide

The way we are going on
Oh, can’t you see?
If we don’t stop it soon
There’ll be a World War III

Before man was on this earth
War was never known
Neither was disloyalty
And all that war has shown

Can’t we put an end to this?
Everlasting peace
Peace to glorify this earth
And peace to never cease
